The company’s journey began with Phillip’s strategic pivot into construction. After concluding his distinguished 10-year career with the Dallas Sheriff’s Department in April 2020, Phillip transitioned directly into the residential building sector, gaining significant experience with major production builders. The partnership with Casey began to take shape in October 2024, when Phillip joined the large production builder where Casey had already established himself. Their shared professional commitment, construction passion, and complementary skills led to an immediate connection. Crucially, before founding Buffalo Ridge, the two partners collectively oversaw the ground-up completion of over 100 large homes, bringing a wealth of production expertise to every project.
Recognizing the potential of their combined talents—Phillip’s disciplined approach forged through years on the Dallas Sheriff’s SWAT team, coupled with Casey’s deep-rooted industry experience—they made the decisive move to launch Buffalo Ridge Construction GRP in February 2025.
The market quickly validated their decision. By May 2025, the company surpassed the $1 million milestone in business, a testament to their speed, reliability, and commitment to quality.
